The Winter Festival was finally played for on Saturday after a fog delay and a suspension in play. The winners were out of site from the rest of the field with a fantastic 47 points, well done to Steve Beal and Chris Smith. Also well done to our starter Larry for all his work in getting everybody back out onto the course to complete their round.
Following the email two weeks ago regarding members volunteering to become our Product Testers, I want to remind you to sign-up if you haven't already! Having spoken to many of you about it in more detail, it's not just for good golfers and it will be all sorts of equipment from balls to clubs, bags to clothing - essentially all golfing product large and small. This is a feature that I am looking forward to running.
Our new Facebook Page is now set up and awaiting your like. In addition to the successful Twitter account (which now has almost 2000 followers), we have revamped our Facebook page. If you're looking to add a new set of irons to your bag this year, then be sure to check out the Lynx range in store. The Parallax irons should appeal to a wide range of golfers. They produce a lovely ball flight, whilst offering forgiveness and workability. Come and take a look for yourself.
