Sian On Tour
Last week I played in my first Ladies European Tour Access event at Stoke by Nayland in Suffolk. A field of 96 players from 18 different countries teed it up to compete for the WPGA International Challenge. The 54-hole event was the only LETAS event to be staged in the UK in 2016 and included 15 WPGA members, either winners from the WPGA 1 Day Series or qualifying through the Order of Merit. I was lucky enough to qualify in both categories this year, after winning the WPGA 1 Day Series at Chestfield in July and coming 5th in the OOM for the year.
Although the week didn't pan out how I would have hoped, missing the cut after 36 holes, it was a great experience. After taking some time to reflect I feel my game is so close to where I want it to be. Knowing that it was only a few too many missed putts that stopped me making the cut is frustrating but helpful in that I know what I need to work harder on from now. I have managed to play a full season this year, winning 4 times, making it to the final stage of Open Qualifying and having numerous Top 5 finishes. Next year should see me finish my PGA and continue to play full time with the aim of going to European Tour Qualifying School in Nov 2017.
Thank you all for your continued support

Seniors Season Finale
The seniors team played in the All Kent Final last week at Hever. Eight teams took part in a very strong field and we managed to come fifth. A good competition to be part of, especially to be playing alongside the likes of Sundridge Park and The Wilderness. But we are nevertheless disappointed and many pairs thought they could have done better.
Already, this has refuelled our enthusiasm to qualify for this competition next year. We had an excellent season of almost historic proportions, being the only club apart from Rochester and Cobham to retain the league trophy ,and the first club ever to win the end of season jamboree away from home.
Thank you to everybody who played their part in this success. Whether it be playing, supporting or following us. So see you all next year.
