Junior members flying the flag.
Well done to Kings Hill Juniors George Young and Jacob Kelso, they both finished in the top 25 of the Under 16 Boys Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship Final. It's great to see over juniors competing in national and international events.
Our junior fixtures are now on the notice board outside the Golf Shop and I look forward to reporting on more success of our juniors throughout the year. If you would like to get your son, daughter, grandson or grand daughter into golf please contact the coaching team in person or by email.
Ladies Spring Meeting
Although this year's Spring Meeting started with a gloomy day's weather, it didn't blight the competitiveness of our ladies, who always give the competition full focus, no matter what. The final result between 1st, 2nd and 3rd places was so close. Each of the top three players had a 75 nett with the final results all based on countback. Jo Bentham achieved the overall win, Maria Babadi was runner-up and Lindsay Tilley came 3rd. They all received generously upgraded prizes from the pro-shop. Jane Marr was the winner of The Scratch Plate with a brilliant 86 gross. Well done ladies!
The day's event was finished off with a delicious Italian buffet and a few glasses of spritzers. Then the sun came out. Typical!
Bradley Cook
Our ladies won their match on Sunday in the Bradley Cook, the team of Maria Babadi, Dawn Edwards, Jo Bentham, Lisa Babadi and team captain Jane Marr. They won 4 v 1! Keep it up.
Club Friendly Match
In the latest club match we're pleased to report a 4-2 win for Kings Hill against Mannings Heath. An excellent day was had by all followed by some good food.
Thank you to all those who took part. Upcoming Event
This week we have the rescheduled Cecil Leitch 5 club event good luck to everyone competing.
