BBQ Success
Thank you for your amazing support for the summer Aussie BBQ which saw over 100 members and friends celebrate in true Aussie spirit. Kangaroo and Lamingtons, new cuisine for many, went down a treat and it was great to see the clubhouse buzzing the whole night long. Keep an eye out for our next social event, where rumour has it Lederhosen could be the required dress code!

Club Championship Game Plan
This weekend is the Club Championship, please find a couple of simple but effective points below from Mark Trow that may help.
- With the rough up and the greens firm, hitting the fairway is now the key to shooting lower scores, use a club that gives you the best chance of hitting your next shot from the short grass. This may not be a driver!!
- Make more pars by hitting the middle of the green - By ignoring the pin and aiming for the centre of greens, you widen your margin for error. If you hit the centre the longest putt you will ever have is 30ft.
- Practise your pace putting before play - As it becomes increasingly difficult to get the ball close to the hole in regulation, you are more likely to be faced with 20-40ft putts on a regular basis, make sure you spend 10-15 minutes before play getting a feel for the speed of the greens.
