Welcome back to the weekly newsletter. This week we recap our Captain's Drive in, we announce our new golfing academy, and we announce some upcoming events and a returning favourite. Enjoy the read!

Captain's Drive in

The Captain's Drive in proved to be a great day Saturday. Before play Trevor, Judy, Larry and James putted out to end their captaincy year which lead to each 2018 Captain driving off to a big roar from the crowd.

On the course some fantastic golf was played with the winning score coming from Neil Bourne, Nathan Bolton, Mike Kavanagh & Martin Sexton with a nett 17 under par!

Others won the excellent raffle prizes and had success in the auction (thanks to Neil Gates) with the whole day achieving £4,500 for the new captains charity ylf.org.uk.

New Coaching programme at Kings Hill

We are delighted to announce that Growing Golf Ltd will be delivering the coaching programme at Kings Hill Golf Club from 1st November 2017 onwards.

Led by Growing Golf’s Head Professional and Director Mark Trow, Growing Golf offers coaching programmes to suit all ages and abilities, from complete beginner to touring pro – absolutely everyone is welcome!

You will see some exciting new additions to the coaching programme over the coming months, with more opportunities to learn, develop and improve than ever before.

Mark, Chris, Mark and Sian will strive to meet all of your golfing needs, helping you maximise your ability and lower your scores through tuition, club fitting and in-depth analysis via GC2 and Quintic systems.

Mark will play an active on-site role throughout and will be available daily, so please do not hesitate to drop in to the academy anytime or contact the team for anything you may need via mark.trow@growinggolf.co.uk or 01732 842121.

Following the AGM’s for each section of the club last week – Thank you to everyone that attended and for your feedback on the excellent condition of the course and food and beverage offerings.
