Captain's Cup
What a great day the Captain's Cup was! Some very good scoring on the day with 41 points required to finish in the prizes, even then with a good back nine. Special well done to Scott Cullen following his 41 points off scratch. The winner was Tom Ward with 44 points (he blobbed the last too!) unfortunately he couldn't make prizegiving but his playing partner Nick Johnson was happy to collect the trophy on his behalf (pictured here).
The next Captain's event is the Captain's Mixed Pairs on Bank Holiday Monday. To sign up for this event please do so on the online tee sheet now.

Our very own junior member Jake Antoun recently went over to Los Angeles to compete in a competition.
In scorching conditions reaching 100 degrees, Jake shot rounds of 79, 94 and 82 to finish 12th overall - his first round 79 being Jake's first time breaking 80. Not only that, but Jake carried the GB flag at the opening ceremony (see photo below)!
I am sure you would all like to join me in congratulating Jake on his fantastic achievement!
