Yes that was me practicing on Sunday lunch time. Last minute preparations for the captain/professional pro-am that Ken and I are playing in this week. Many people commented that they hadn't seen me practicing before, well, that's for three reasons.
1. I don't do it enough
2. I practice with purpose, using a structured session plan. This makes it more effective and time efficient (speak to one of our professionals for a tailored programme - contact us here)
3. I often use the indoor facilities in the academy as they are purpose built for coaching and training
We hope to report back with news that we have qualified for the final next week.
Speaking of finals, a big well done to Adrian Cole, Andrew Johnson, Bruce Wilton and Mark Hutchinson for reaching the
Kent top club final on the 13th September at Sittingbourne Golf Club. Best of luck!
September must be the month of finals with Kings Hill being represented in the top club, captain's foursomes, junior foursomes and hosting the Kent foursomes final on 6th September.
If anyone failed to make a booking this morning please contact me and we will try to arrange a reciprocal game or perhaps you would like to go and support one of the teams?! In addition to the finals we are hosting the Southern Professionals' Championship on 9th and 10th September. Everyone is welcome to come to watch the professionals take on your course.
If you would like to play with the pros we have a few teams available for the PGA pro-am on 26th September - click here if you wish to put your name down. The pro-am days are great days with friend or with clients.
