Well done to Bruce Wilton, Adrian Cole, Andy Johnson and Mark Hutchinson on their success in the final at the weekend. They definitely won best dressed in their special team shirt to mark the occasion (pictured below). They were sourced from FootJoy, embroidered and delivered in just five days. Another fit, another improvement in score!

Alex Parietti has found greater length and accuracy with his new TaylorMade JetSpeed driver (pictured above) after a comprehensive trail of many test clubs both in the academy and on the course.

"I was really surprised to be offered so many different clubs to try both on the course and under the supervision of my coach, Mark. The ability to talk to independent professionals without the hard sell of a national retailer provides a great buying experience".

The fairway woods and hybrids to match the JetSpeed driver have just been reduced so I would not be surprised if we don't see an addition to his bag again soon!

Southern Professionals' Championships

What a great event with every single player commenting positively about the club, the course and the amazing support of its members. With the course playing really well so did the professionals. The cut was two under par with the winning score being 19 under for the three rounds. We now look forward to the pro-am next week and the same event in 12 months' time. 


Titleist Brand Experience

I was fortunate to be selected to become one of the Titleist ambassadors for their new metal woods. They are not available for another eight weeks and I am not allowed to post a photo or the model name so come in if you would like to have a look.

I was not only benefitting from the European tour van, but I also had an educational session with the Scotty Cameron tour fitting expert and golf ball technician. They passed on too much information to include in this newsletter so I will continue next week or in person if I see you at the club.
