I wasn't at the club at the weekend but I have heard that we experienced some rain! 

Following this and the recent Equipment Survey, I thought I would take this oppurtunity to ask you a couple of questions.

1) What do you have in your bag in addition to your clubs?

I have looked in my own bag this week. Apart from too many chocolate wrappers, I have the following: golf balls (only one type of ball as this is one of the only things you can keep the same), gloves, tees, ball markers, pencils, permanent pen, two towels, umbrella, rain hood, sun lotion, and a visor which I will now swap for hat and mitts. 

2) Does your bag provide you with enough space and comparments for your belongings? Golf bags are the most overlooked bit of equipment.

Therefore, we are offering a £10 trade-in on your old bag this week when you purcahse a new one. We will also be offering a prize to the person that responds with the most uncessary things they currently have in their golf bag.

Next week we have the clubs AGM's: Thursday 16th October for men; 18th October for ladies and Thursday 23rd for seniors. To welcome the new captains we have the annual drive-in on Saturday 1st November which is open to all members to play. Online booking is now open.
