Club teams

Junior Team

Well done to the Junior team last weekend who advanced through to the second round of the Kent Junior Foursomes Knockout beating Rochester and Cobham GC 4 up! Well one guys!

Super Seniors

Having joined the Kent Super Seniors league last year this year we decided to also join the Kent Super Seniors Knockout Championship. Having received a 'bye' in the first round we were drawn against Whitstable and Seasalter Golf Club away in the second round. On Tuesday, 11th June our team of three pairs managed a 2 - 1 win at Whitstable and Seasalter G.C. It was a close match with the last pair winning their game on the 19th hole!

We now await next week's draw to find out who we play in the third round.

Vet's Team

This week the Vets team played at home against Mid Kent Golf Club in terrible wet and windy conditions, making for a very close match refelected in the overall result, a 2-2 draw.

Chris’ Captain's Cup success

Well done to Chris Smith who won the Captain's Cup in what can only be described as shocking weather conditions. Chris scored 40 stableford points to win by 2 points from Lewis Turnbull while Gary Odell and Richard Green were a further point back, but it was Gary who took third place on countback.
