Course update from Barry The last couple of weeks the greenkeeping team have been trying to keep on top of the leaves as it is that time of year. Green aeration a couple of weeks ago have made a huge difference, especially with the amount of rain we have had. The course is in great condition - thanks to Barry and his team!

Growing Golf 2019 La Cala, Spain Coaching Trip is now done and dusted. It was a great success, made more poignant on returning to frost, wind and rain. Great weather, hotel, staff, food & beverage and of course three spectacular courses. The included Spa definitely was the way to go after the golf. It is with great pleasure and excited to launch the same trip for next year…
|
The trip is open to all, so if you fancy some winter sun and great golf in a wonderful atmosphere please let me know. Mark Peddar - mark.peddar@growinggolf.co.uk Senior PGA Coach Or just come and have a chat at Academy or in the Club. Flights should be released next week, so it will be possible to get some great deals on the flights.

#468FCD ;text-align:left">Stats that'll make you thinkYou don’t get to a single-figure handicap without having a strong iron game, but the journey shouldn't end there. For us, there are two key factors that, when combined properly, will help take your iron play to the next level |
1) Get custom-fitted If you're serious about shooting in the 70s each and every round, then getting custom-fitted for your next set of irons is key. Titleist’s T100 model feels fantastic off the face and provides precise distances and control, but that's no good if you're using the wrong shafts or you need 2-degrees flat but yours are standard.
2) Know your yardages The second stat above is remarkable and if you're one of the 21%, you need to come and see us for a gapping session. There we can give you the distances you hit each of your clubs as well as spot any issues you have between clubs.
