Well done to Scott Seabrook and Heather Dunne on their scores in the Five Club Competition at the weekend. They will go on to represent the Club in the regional final later in the year.
Masters tee bookings have now opened, usual format of playing Saturday and Sunday nett medal play. In addition to the Saturday play there will also be the Crystal Challenge for the ladies on the Sunday. Entries will close on Wed 25 Mar and draw published on Thursday 26th. I believe this will be our best Masters weekend ever!
The par 3 event on the Friday Night of the 10th April will also see our very own European Tour player Robert Rock doing a Q&A session after play from 7.30pm. It will be a shotgun start from 5.30pm. This is an evening not to be missed please sign up early as this will fill up fast!
Summer Knockout Competitions - To enter this year's competitions please fill in your entry on the brown envelopes found next to the competition box outside the office. Please fill in one envelope per competition ensuring your name and competition are clearly printed on the outside and the entry fee is placed inside the envelope. The competitions are:
Seely Scratch - Singles knockout played off scratch. This year the competition will be seeded by handicap. Entry £5.
Murphy's Singles - Singles knockout played off full difference between the handicaps of the two players. Entry £5
Hogan Trophy - Pairs fourball better ball, lowest handicap to concede strokes to the other three players based on three quarters of the difference between the full handicaps. Entry £5 per pair
Mixed Pairs - Mixed Pairs fourball better ball, lowest handicap to concede strokes to the other three players based on three quarters of the difference between the full handicaps. Entry £5 per pair
