Juniors show us how it it done
Well done to Scott Cullen on an impressive score of two-under-par gross in the Junior Open last week. He was in good company with three other player shooting level par or better. The nett winner was our very own Luca Babadi who shot an excellent nett 64 to ensure the main prizes stayed within the club. It was great that our juniors won in an impressive 30 boy and girl field.
What I found even more impressive was the attitude of our juniors on Monday playing 36 holes in the heavy rain. Several of the players were on the putting green when I arrived at 7:15am on Monday morning. Congratulations to Sonny Teale on a well deserved win and also to Maria Babadi on a great nett 69 in the afternoon.
With so many talented boys and girls at the club now and the junior programme about to start enrolling for the next year, please do not hesitate to contact us below if you have a budding young golfer that you think might want to give golf a go! Click here to enquire.
