What a difference a year makes 

Our seniors' Vets' League team have won the league following many impressive performances both at home and away. They finished on 185 points from five pairs averaging 37. The team of Steve Hook, Larry Davis, Keith Fisher, Alastair Byron, Peter Bryant, Jim Davies, John Holt, Dave Sealey, Robin August and Dave Kent go on to Boughton on 1st October to play in the All Kent final. We wish them the best of luck.

Having struggled last year, Mark and I delivered a tailored training programme during the winter which, given the improvement, goes to show that you're never too old to benefit from our help and expertise. 


Caddy makes all the difference 

Two of our members caddied for players last week in the PGA Southern Championship. Peter Townson caddied for Craig Cowper who shot a new course record 62 with a bogey at the last! Justin Spencer caddied for the eventual winner Benn Barham. Home favourite Sian Evans carded a new ladies course record 69 to finish 12th.
